Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
On May 28th at 8am in the library, let Mills express our thank you to the many families, friends and community members who made our school such a great place! Come get some kolaches, donuts, and morning sips.
The Great Book Return Contest
It is time to turn in your Mountain Lions' books. The first class in school to return all their books gets to watch a movie in the library. PJs welcome! The first class in each grade will earn a popsicle party!
The Talent Show

Pirates the Musical
Join us for the fifth grade production of Pirates the Musical at 8:00AM, 9:00AM, or the final performance at 5:00PM.

Does your child have a special talent? Do they like to sing, dance, act, do magic, do gymnastics, play an instrument, or have another fun act? Sign up for the Talent Show on May 23, 2025! There is a hard deadline of Friday 5/2 to sign up.
Mindful Tech Initiative
The Mindful Tech Initiative had a great conversation with parents last Friday at the Principal's Coffee. Our big news is that Waterloo Icehouse has agreed to host a Mills Elementary Screen-Free Night every month on the second Tuesday of the month for the remainder of the school year!
What is the Bike Bus?
Have you ever wanted to bike to Mills with your fellow Mountain Lions? Now is your chance on Thursday October 2! Dust off your bicycles and get ready for a fun and healthy way to get to school. Bike Bus Safety Reminders & Requirements:
