Welcome to the Early Childhood Special Education class at Mills elementary!
At Mills we believe in the positive effects of an inclusion-based classroom model. All children are educated in a highly intentional environment within the context of developmentally appropriate curriculum and receive individualized and research-based instruction alongside their peers in one of our pre-k classrooms, which allows them to achieve their maximum potential. Providing individualized education is made possible by our low student-to-teacher ratio. Through the collaborative efforts of therapists, families, and teachers, we are able to foster a genuine culture of friendship and accomplishment for all children. We are so happy that you and your child will be a part of our classroom family this year!
