This past weekend AISD had 3 teams go to a 90 team STEM tournament called Destination Imagination. Two of those teams were from Mills Elementary. Our older competitive team  - Emery Swanson, Yadhu Balaji, Reya Ali, and Marco Galati - placed third in the impossibly difficult engineering challenge and was one spot away from attending the Lone Star Finals in March. Our Early Learners team presented their solution to the Weather Together Challenge after months of hard work. Team members included Price Cowhig, Sara Ali, Sunay Baldava, Vaubhav Karthik, Clark Jensen, and Jenson Ho. A hearty congratulations are in order for both teams and their managers - Devika Ali and Saranya Durairaju.
