Pre-order a book dedicated to Mills Elementary! It was one of our Mountain Lions who asked the question that inspired Mari Mancusi to write the prequel to New Dragon City.
Once upon a time, a NYT Best selling author visited Mills Elementary. During her question & answer session, a young Mountain Lion asked if she was going to write a prequel. Fast forward 1 year, and here we have the prequel to New Dragon City. Mari Mancusi's Dawn of the Dragon is actually dedicated to Mills Elementary because it was one of our Mountain Lions who inspired her to write another chapter in the story of our favorite dragons. New Dragon City was on the 2023-2024 Bluebonnet Award List. It was my favorite book from that year's list of literary marvels. She will be visiting the Super Fun Book Club next October when her book is released in September!
